The PUR materials used at secutex are usually classified in building material class B 2, normally flammable, according to DIN 18164 “Foam plastics as insulating materials for the building industry”. In combination, e.g. with tight covering on all sides, with other building materials, classification as flame-retardant building material, building material class B 1, can also be achieved.
