Flexibility is necessary; the requirements of the customers are often very different: Sizes of the parts Wipers for steel tubes with a weight of a few grams up to sealing plates for large pipes weighing several hundred kg. Quantities From a single piece up to the production of several thousand deposit prisms for transport pallets in the area of car production. Tolerances In a steel mill deviations of 5mm are exact enough. In mechanical engineering, on the other hand, tolerances of a few tenths of a mm are required, which can only be reached by grinding the components afterwards.
