The SZ-GVO is an ideal extension that is very light. As with all fork-protection products, the SZ-GVO can be outfitted with a secutex buffer pad. The thickness and width of the fork extension are based on prong width, prong thickness and carrying capacity.

The fork extension offers all the advantages of the secutex coating. Because it is welded, it is especially robust and sturdy as well as noise absorbent and slip-resistant. It can be simply pushed onto the prongs and secured with a bolt and cotter pin without tools.

Sometimes, the load rests upon the shank of the fork during transport. In these cases, transported goods and the fork shank must be protected from damage. The secutex fork-shank protection with a hollow profile is a robust version designed to protect the transported goods. The hollow chambers have a cushioning effect when loads collide. Usages include, for example, transportation of stones in the brick industry or concrete pipes in the concrete industry. The fork-shank can be fastened with a steel belt to the back of the fork and can be easily exchanged.

For delicate goods

Sometimes, the load rests upon the shank of the fork during transport. In these cases, transported goods and the fork shank must be protected from damage. secutex fork-shank protection with foam padding is designed for careful load transportation. The degree of compression of the foam is dependent upon the collision. The foam reforms after the stress has subsided. Usages include, e.g. transport of sensitive dry walls, roofing tiles, etc. The fork-shank can be fastened with a steel belt to the back of the fork and can be easily exchanged.

For special loads

The secutex fork-shank protection is a special design with a hollow profile and foam insert. For example, it is suited to the transport of delicate drums on EUR-pallets. The colliding of the drums is absorbed through the flexible foam padding, whilst the impact of the pallet is absorbed through the sturdy hollow-profile design. Usages include, for example, transport in the chemical or glass industries.
The fork-shank protection is attached to the fork shanks via steel bands and is thus easily exchangeable.

The attachment chain may only be used as an attachment accessory without edge protection if a 20% reduction in load lifting capacity is taken into consideration or if the next-largest chain thickness is used. Otherwise, a secutex SK-K hinged edge-protector must be used.
A “sharp edge” exists when the edge radius is smaller than the nominal thickness of the lifting chain. Further information is available in the “sharp edge“ chapter.

By means of a hinge, the edge protector SK-B can be optimally suited to fit any load geometry. It can be optionally equipped with magnets to better retain its position on the magnetic load. The edge protector can be quickly secured to the edge of the lashing belt by means of mounting slits. The lashing belt slides through the secutex clip which remains on the lashing belt despite collisions.

By means of a hinge, the edge protector SK-D can be optimally suited to any load geometry. The edge protector can be quickly secured to the edge of the wire cable by means of mounting slits. The wire cable slides through the secutex clip which remains on the lashing belt despite collisions.

Active-absorption impact protection

If secutex Soft is coated by a Powerflex surface, dirt particles and liquids are prevented from penetrating the foam. Additionally, open-pore material protects against abrasion, without losing its elastic properties.

As opposed to secutex Soft, the SoftPad forms a fully sealed outer skin that protects the material from liquid and dirt penetration from all sides.

The SP-F grade contains no reinforcement and can be perfectly adapted to the place of use. Where screwing or riveting is not possible, it can be easily fixed by gluing with the special secutex adhesive. As a sheet or moulded part, SP-F retains its maximum elasticity, depending on its thickness. At the same time, it remains particularly resistant to abrasion and wear.

For bolting and riveting

Perforated sheet reinforcement in the secutex impact protection prevents longitudinal and transverse expansion of the material. Screws and rivets can be inserted via the perforated grid.
Fastening to machine and other components is therefore flexible and usually possible without major preparations. This allows you to achieve universal impact protection in no time at all.

secutex impact protection semicircles are suited for use with round loads that have been processed at the company. The inbound perforated plate prevents longitudinal and lateral straining of the material and allows for easy screw-on applications.

secutex-Soft is inherently stable yet soft and adaptable. The flexible cushioning layer of the foam is particularly suitable for sensitive goods with an uneven surface.
The soft foam adapts optimally to the contour of the surface depending on the load. After the load is removed, it returns to its original shape.
The ideal adaptation is achieved through the different degrees of hardness of the foam or their combination. secutex-Soft can be combined with all other types of impact protection. In combination with secutex-SPL-F (impact protection with perforated metal reinforcement), it can be installed easily and flexibly. Coating with a further layer of secutex impact protection makes “Soft” particularly abrasion-resistant.
