From 24 to 27 September, the Hamburg exhibition grounds therefore once again became the central meeting place for the global wind industry, which united and pushed ahead with the green transformation at full speed. At the same time, WindEnergy Hamburg 2024 set new standards and underlined its status as the most important platform for innovation and international cooperation. More than 1,600 exhibiting companies and over 43,000 participants from around 100 nations discussed the latest solutions in the field of wind power.
The wind sector places very special requirements on the materials used to protect the high-quality towers and the sensitive rotor blades. The newly developed, patent-pending blade bandage for guide ropes with tension-relieved remote release via a safety rope took centre stage at the trade fair stand.
