It is increasingly important to protect the coils of strip or sheet steel that have just been produced or are to be processed further. Delicate coils of fine steel strip that often are of considerable weight frequently develop pressure points as a result of incorrect storage, which lead to problems later in subsequent shaping forming operations.

The movable coil mat was developed to cater for the short-term temporary storage of coils. It is easy to handle and can easily be moved flexibly at the place of use. This makes it possible to quickly set up temporary storage areas or to expand existing storage areas in the event of bottlenecks.

As with all secutex products, the coil mat is a product with an extremely long life and is resistant to oils and lubricants, as opposed to comparable products made from rubber or recycled materials. Optionally, you can have the secutex coil mat with oil catch pan inside it or else one provided with a specially structured surface to prevent slipping.
